Color + Simplicity
Photos and credits can be found here
Since moving into our new house a lot of ideas have been going through my head about how I would like to decorate. There is a lot to tackle since our home is a good size so I will be just taking it slow and one room at a time.
My design taste is pretty much a healthy mixture of items. I love to find vintage items at thrift stores and mix it in with some of my more modern purchases. I just recently went to a antique shop in southern California and bought a awesome typewriters desk (my original plan was to put it into my boys room) and it sits currently next to my Panton chairs as a side table.
The mixture of the rustic and sometimes beat up textures of a antique/vintage piece with the modern smooth lines of a more current piece is great!
You can go to my pinterest boards to see what is currently inspiring me! I will also post some pictures of my home once everything is a little more in order!

Be A Pinfollower
If you aren't addicted to pinterest yet (hello, where have you been?) then get ready. Pinterest is an addicting place you can create moodboards just by a simple click. Then you can organize them into different categories.
One pinterest follower I love is this little lady here, Fergi currently has 43 boards just oozing inspiration and over 6 thousand beautiful pins. These images above are some of my favorite from her boards.
Fergi isn't just a master pinner but she has a cute little etsy shop called "Liddle," where she sells amazing vintage clothing for kids. I especially love this little dress.
Fergi is special to me also because we were lucky enough to shoot her daughter (she won the cover contest) for Babiekins winter issue. It was such a fun experience to shoot her daughter and it felt more like a "play date" rather than work.
Here is the cover her daughter was on...isn't she cute?
If you have a favorite pinner I would love to know about them. Please leave a comment so I can check them out.
